Owls at Green Investment Bank's Birthday

King Edward Street, London. Tue 28 Oct 2014

It was extremely dark where the protesters first set up, just around the corner from Bank of America Merrill Lynch

'Green Investment Bank - Stop the Biomass-Querade'

And it was quite a bit lighter closer to one of the entrances to the Bank

The two photographers present were pleased when protesters decided to move

though the light was still challenging

The 'birthday cake' for the Green Investment Bank with two oil palms and a banner 'GIB - NO Biomass' strung between them.

Some forest creatures turned up with placards

'Our Previous Forests aren't cheap Fuel - #usewoodwisely'

and I think they were wise owls

Depending on where they stood their cloaks looked brown or black - the lighting was different colours and

rather orange in places

Some had whistles
