Bermondsey Thames Panoramas

City Hall to Angel Wharf, London. Thur Oct 16 2014

St Saviour's Dock where the River Neckinger ran into the Thames now has a footbridge, svaing a detour via Dockhead

Hard to know why planning permission was granted for an eysore in so many views of Tower Bridge

Both sides of the river are now lined with rather depressing blocks of flats, giving river view to those living there, but making the view depressing for all of us

The path goes slightly inland for a short distance

the comes back to the river. Work is already taking place for yet more flats on the empty wharf here

Cherry Gardens Pier

And here I realised I was going to have to leave the river and rush to get a bus for my next event
