Deptford to Greenwich

Deptford and Greenwich, Thu 9 Oct 2014

 Deptford Creek

 Isle of Dogs

It looks as if they are getting a footbridge ready to go across the Creek

This used to be a part of Stowage but is now renamed Clarence Road

 Greenwich Quay

  Stowage

and about all that remains of it

The Duke is still open on Creek Rd, but everything on the other side is new - with the Laban centre

with its colours and curved front

between the tall blocks.

A short distance further east there are new buildings on both sides of the road

Glaisher St / Creek Rd

Stowage ran down beside The Hoy, which closed in 2008 after losing its licence because of drug dealing there.
Now a cafe and said to be friendly & good value but rather middle class

Deptford Creek
