Sainsbury's told Stop Selling Illegal Goods

Whitechapel High St and Sainsbury's, London. Sat 27 Sep 2014

 The protest continues,

with people walking past the banners to enter the store

Sainsbury's have called the police, but it takes them over ten minutes to arrive. Once he does so, he tells the

manager to ask the protesters to leave the store, and then goes over to speak with the protesters

he apologises to them for not being in uniform, telling them there were no uniformed officers avialbale, so they
sent him, an he shows his warrant card, telling the protesters they will be committing an offence unless they leave

and could be arrested (though I think only if they found more officers). But these are well-behaved protesters

 and they agree to leave

pleased with having been able to protest for around 15 minutes

The manager follows them out to make sure they leave

They stop outside for a photograph

and then go back to tell the other protesters what happened

The protest on the High St continues

with people signing the petition

and I decide it is time for me to go.
