Police held back the SEA protesters but didn't stop them using the flags as weapons Another protester tries to hit me with a Union Flag And I retreat out of range of the St George's Flag The flag warriors turn their attention on a black photographer to their right More had joined the march and it could just have reached double figures by the time it arrived. Once behind the barriers and the police line, some of the SEA protesters continued to use the flags and poles to attack photographers While others cleary wanted us to photograph the posters they were holding up
	Eventually police reacted to the violent attacks with flags - by forcing photographers further back! Across the road, police had arrested the Spanish woman I had talked with earlier and handcuffed her and led her away. I was fed up with being insulted and attacked - and in any case people on both sides were drifting away and nothing much more seemed likely to happen.So I got on the bus.
