South East Alliance 'Racist Thugs Not Welcome'

Cricklewood, London. Sat 30 Aug 2014

At Cricklewood the antifascists were waiting

Police had formed a line to block the road as a small group of SEA supporters had already arrived on the other side

Most of the anti-fascists were standing around watching them across the road

But some decided to walk down and join the others who were already waiting for the marchers

Police arrest an anti-fascist - I didn't see why they acted

Another anti-fascist goes to his assistance but is dragged away

and he is carried away

then put down again

and finally walked towards the waiting vans down the road

Another arrest as the SEA march is halted just across the road from here

Insults and a gesture are directed at me as I photograph the scene

Paul Pitt tries to march on and is held by police

as is another SEA marcher

Who is swearing at police, anti-fascists and photographers
