Haringey March & Rally for Gaza

Haringey, London. Sat 2 Aug 2014

The front of the march on the High Road

Although against the attack by Israel on Gaza and calling for freedom for Palestine, there was no evidence of
any anti-semitic presence in the placards or slogans on the march.

One man and a woman shouted at the march supporting the Israeli attacks on Gaza

and made threatening gestures as the police officer held back the marchers

The woman who was with him shouted at the marchers too.

But most people on the street clearly supported the marchers, and they reacted to the support

'Israel out of Palestine - Stop the Massacre' read the Daymer Turkish & Kurdish Community Centre banner

The march went through Shopping City

and was welcomed by members of Halk Cephesi - the Turkish Popular Front
