Shut down Yarl's Wood

Home Office, Westminster, London. Thu 3 April 2014

The protest was called following the death in Yarl's Wood of Christine Case, given paracetamol and not

allowed medical treatment when she had a heart attack there, and the deportation of A-level student Yashika

But there are many other longstanding complaints about Yarl's wood, including those of sexual harassment of women asylum seekers

and the deportation of gay people to Uganda and other countries where they face persecution

The protesters want Yarl's Wood closed and an enquiry into the abuses there
