Human Rights Day Pilgrimages for SyriaLondon, Tue 10 Dec 2013 |

They were late for the time that had been agreed for Maria to hand in a letter and waited for a few minutes outside before leaving her to wait until the police were going to let her deliver her message The others walked around to hand in another letter at the Foreign Office From there they went to Parliament Square and posed in front of the Houses of Parliament where I left them on their way to visit the Mandela statue and go on the the Chinese embassy The other group of pilgrms had started in Kensington, with short protests at the Russian and Israeli embassies before visiting others. I just missed them at the Saudi and Iraqi embassies, but caught up with them outside the Omani embassy which handles Iranian interests. From there we went on to the Kuwaiti and French embassies |

And then the two groups of pilgrims met at the US embassy, along with a few others including peace pilgrim Earthian, who has been on a peace pilgrimage in the Middle East and Britain since October 2012 on foot without money, passport or visas and had also called at a number of embassies around London today. You can read more about Earthian, a citizen of planet earth, on his blog |
