![]() We flew from one of the world's least favourite airports, though its only a bus ride from where I live ![]() As always, air travel was a pain. At least I took a good book to read in the hours of waiting ![]() We were flying economy on Lufthansa ![]() Our flight left the terminal on time and was soon making its way onto the runway to take off ![]() Unfortunately the cloud was low and we didn't get to see our house as we flew past ![]() We didn't see the North Sea as we flew across, but there were just a few glimpses of land between Bremen and Hamburg where we landed |

![]() It was dark by the time we got to Husberg, but the next day we went for a walk around the neighbourhood ![]() Where there are still farms with typical barns ![]() and a rather nice farmhouse ![]() The windmill is only open to the public annually on special occasions ![]() ![]() ![]() as too is this fine old house ![]() ![]() ![]() modern architecture ![]() ![]() |
