Express Stop Sponging Off Migrants

Northern & Shell Building, London. Mon 23 Sep 2013

Police talk to Mark Thomas and other protesters

and are happy so long as we leave room for people to walk along the pavement

Mark Thomas talks to protesters with posters

'Princess Diana would have Hated Tax Dodging' - meant as a homage to the Express, a fake story based on no facts

and doubtless she would have been just as busy dodging taxes as most of the rich

A poster makes reference to the large scale avoidance of tax by Richard Desmond and Northern & Shell

A man blows up a red balloon

A dog prepares to bust the red balloon Mark Thomas is holding outside Northern & Shell who publish the Express

 The dog jumps up

and the remains of the balloon are in pieces in mid air

A woman speaks about how Desmond profits from the NHS lotter he runs

Christine Gilmore from Leeds talks about how the government has separated her from her Syrian husband by its immigration restrictions

I like the banner 'Stop Sponging Off Migrants' with sponges for the 3 'O's
