Walton Bridge, Surrey. Thu 25 Jul 2013
The area around the bridge is still fenced off as work continues
There are currently three bridges, including the one I was standing on to take this picture
The area closer to the bridge is still officially closed to the public
I'd come out partly to try out the 8mm Samyang lens on the Fuji X-E1 - part corrected here with Fisheye Hemi plug-in
Walkers and cyclists now have a nice wide bridge to themselves - soon to be demolished
The three bridges and a pipe
We cycled back along the tow path, in part a one-way road - which needs to be two way for cyclists
And further along the towpath there are also restrictions on cyclists. The official cycle route goes on the other
side of the Thames but along an unsuitable very busy road, and would be greatly improved by using the
lane and towpath between Shepperton lock (reached by road or ferry) and Chertsey Bridge.
