	Swan Upping Staines, Middx. Mon 15 Jul 2013
	The cygnets are all weighed and their heads are measured David Barber gets some of those watching to feel how soft the swan down is on the cygnets The ring on the adult bird is checked and needs some attention
	The uppers get ready to return the swans taking care to release the swan and then the cygnets who speed towards the swan Finally the lone swan is released Swan Master David Barber is the last to leave and I go home for lunch as the uppers head for the Swan Hotel at Egham Hythe opposite Staines
