More US Embassy Protests

US Embassy, Grosvenor Square, London. Sat 18 May 2013

This vigil takes place every weekend - see Lonely Vigil at US Embassy

Narmeen Saleh Al Rubaye, wife of Shawki Ahmed Omar, and their 7 year old daughter Zeinab, standing alone outside the US embassy.

A Muslim man talks with Omar's wife through her daughter

Zeinab, Omar''s daughter spoke at the Guantanamo 'Murder Scene' protest saying she wanted her Daddy to be released

Muslims arrive to protest at the US embassy and to show solidarity with the protest to release Shawki Ahmed Omar.

Pro-Assad protesters.

The Al-Nusra Front or Jabhat al-Nusra, an Al Qaida associate, is part of the Syrian opposition,
declared a terrorist group by the US in December 2012

The pro-Assad protesters were directed to a police pen a few yards to the north.
I'd meant to photograph them before I left Grosvenor Square, but was diverted by the arrival of the Muslim group,
and when I had finished taking pictures of them had to run not to miss the Tamil march.
