Leveller Thomas Rainsborough

St John's Churchyard, Wapping, London. Sun 12 May 2013

I'm not sure why Baroness Pola Uddin was invited to speak at the event

John Reese came up with the idea of a plaque for Rainborough

talking with local councillor Rania Khan, who got Tower Hamlets to agree to it

 Tony Benn speaking

People including the Sealed Knot re-enactors listening to Benn

Tony Benn pulls the cord to unveil the plaque as the others look on

Colonel Rainsborough's Regiment of Foote remove their hats and stand in silent respect in front of the plaque

and then march into the middle of the gardens

The five musketeers prepare to fire

and on the command, they fired

a second round

After the volley
