Northfleet, Southfleet and Gravesend, Kent. Tue 1 Jan 2013
Former site of huge Blue Circle cement works
Footpath from the Church
Northfleet parish church
The bridge across the railway line is surrounded by a cage
and there is only a narrow gap with an unobscured view
The bridge goes over a couple of rail tracks but the path then takes a long detour by the high speed line
The blue lake is a long worked out quarry, taken as close as possible to Northfleet itself and allowed to fill with water
Just south of the lake is a footpath between the sewage works and a small stream from Springhead
