Police Deny Olympic Residents Access to HomeLund Point, Stratford. Sat 21 Jul 2012 |

There are now two police vans, but police are unable to find a reason to prevent residents and their guests entering We are shown the BBC is occupying the lift lobby as well as the floors they have part rented and there are possible health and safety hazards for residents, particularly their children We take it in turns to go in and see the flat, which is in excellent repair (although the council say these flats are too expensive to refurbish, if UCL takes over the site it may reuse them as student residencies.) Colin's flat looks out over the Carpenters estate. We also have an invitation to visit Warren on the 20th floor. BBC Security say we can't go up there. We take the lift up and at first they stop us leaving the packed lift |

Then we move out a little into the corridor. Security continue to block our passage This is a residential area where people still live, despite the cables and poles But finally Warren comes to confirm his invitation and we have to be allowed to walk along the corridor and are able to continue our tour continue with the Carpenters Estate tour |
