Stop The War - No Intervention in Syria

Downing St, London. Thu 14 June 2012

Stop the War officers including president Tony Benn get ready to take a letter across the road to the PM in Downing St

The officer on duty checks in his file

and refuses to let them in as they did not apply 5 working days in advance

He accepts the letter from Tony Benn and says he will see it gets to the PM's office

Three people sang some protest songs. One held up a CND peace symbol between his fingers

Jeremy Corbyn MP arrived shortly after they had tried to deliver the letter and talks to Chris Nineham about it

At the end of the protest Chris Nineham thanked those remaining for coming at short notice
