Ravensbourne

Bromley to Catford, London. Sun 13 May 2012

There was a yellow hose running along the river bed

 and plenty of ravens

I wondered if I could show this bend of the river better as a panoramic image, and tried to do so

This was one of my first attempts, and is a Vedutismo projection and shows a roughly 191 degree angle of view

But I think this slightly less wide (ca 157 degrees) equirectangular example on works better.

A small green area on the corner of Bromley Rd and Beckenham Hill Rd

The river goes under Beckenham Hill Rd

and feeds the large pond at Homebase - The Pond - my map shows this as a stream with a weir in the middle!
Part was once the mill pond for Lower Mill, a corn mill (which was at different times a mustard mill and a cutlery mill)
on the corner of Southend Lane. Upper Mill stood roughly here on the corner of Beckenham Hill Rd.
