Trafalgar Square, London. Saturday 31 March 2012
The artists got ready in the main part of Trafalgar Square
and included a figure from Magritte handing out postcards for the director of the National Gallery
But they were soon directed away by the 'heritage wardens' and up to the North Terrace
outside the National Gallery where they were to make their protest
There was a final briefing for the artists
Who then went with their easels one by one
to paint in front of the gallery
There was also a display of anti-war art works
