UK Uncut Protest VAT Rise at Vodaphone

Vodaphone, Oxford St, London. Sat 15 Jan 2011

People move in to sit down in front of the Vodaphone doorway

 at first they link hands

There is a small line of flags which says 'No Cuts'. A woman is writing a slogan on her hand

and a large banner we never quite get to see

Vodaphone security men and staff stay inside the doorway

She holds up her hand for me to photograph 'Cuts are Mean'

The megaphone lets the protesters tell shoppers walking along Oxford St what the protest is about

and a banner across the doorway 'We Won't Buy Your Cuts'
