Jesse Jackson & Christian Aid Lobby

   We are welcomed to the event in Wesminster Central Hall

   Christian Aid director Loretta Minghella

   Secretary of State for Overseas Development, Andrew Mitchell MP

   

   Jesse Jackson is welcomed on stage

   Suzanne Matale from Zambia speaks about the position there

   

  and is congratulate for her speech by Jesse Jackson
 
Jesse Jackson looks down as he is given an introduction about his great acheivements    

And a short film clip was projected on screens at each side of the stage "Now Is The TIme - Jesse Jackson for President'   

Jesse Jackson comes to the microphone   

and waits...   

and waits...   

for the applause to subside so he can speak   

His tone was measured, unemotional, but with some piercing stares into the audience   

and received a great ovation
