Tomlinson Decision Protest

DPP's Office and Cornhill, London. Friday 30 July 2010

The DPP is the Dept of Police Protection. Since 1969 over a thousand people have died while in police custody

yet not a single police officer has been charged with either manslaughter or murder in even a single case.

Even though in this case there were clear evidence from video and eye witnesses, a pretext was found

to avoid charging the officer who came up behind Tomlinson and attacked him without provocation.

Minutes later Tomlinson was dead. Police tried to deny their part in his death, but the evidence emerged.

Samantha Rigg-David has been fighting to find the truth about her brother's death, minutes after he entered

Brixton Police station in good health. Few of us believe that justice will be done despite the family's campaign

As usual, CCTV mysteriously doesn't work, recordings aren't available, officers lie and cover up for each other

and the authorities follow tradition, fixing blind eyes firmly to telescopes. It has to end.

The protesters march into the city to pay respects at the place where Tomlinson died
