UAF Arrive to Oppose EDL

Whitehall, Sun 20 June 2010

Police appeared to treat the demonstrators firmly but without malice

pushing them back when they tried to break out of the cordon

One man who was arrested was handled fairly roughly; it wasn't clear why he was arrested

The police held the young Asians on the opposite side of the road while the One Law For All march left

There were a couple of FIT teams busily photographing the demonstrators

As I left to run after the One Law For All march towards the Iranian Embassy police were about to escort
the young Asians across Whitehall into the pen they had vacated.
