Brighton Smash Edo Remember Gaza

Brighton. Monday 18 Jan, 2009

On the way back up the hill passing the backs of the factories, some pulled up the bottom of a fence and scrambled under

It was the bakery adjoining the weapons factory. Police were soon there

Protesters rolled a couple of oil drums towards them

But soon the dog handlers arrived and threated the protesters - though they kept the dogs on their leashes

and the protesters scrambled up and under the fence for safety

Meanwhile the police horses and police with riot shields had

come up the path and started to push

the protesters up the hill

One man was injured (I was told he was hit by a police baton) and treated by the protest medics

Having driven the protesters up the hill the police formed a line to stop them going down again
