	Swan Upping River Thames, Staines to Windsor. Monday 14 July, 2008   The uppers surround the swans on the river side,
	Then bring a boat in to completly encircle them,
	drawing tighter and tighter, leaving no gaps for the birds to escape.
	The boats move in closer
	Until the swans (and a few ducks) are trapped in quite a small triangle of water
			and one of the uppers can grab a swan by the neck
			but they are not easy to hold, struggling powerfully     The second swan is still free and comes toward its mate, who is now subdued and for a second or so, this man from Dyers Royalty holds both of the swans before passing one to the Queen's uppers in the boat by the bank, who soon have it under control
