		Laying a wreath to honour dead comrades, both the over 500 who died in spain and those who have died since.
		Ana Perez from the Madrid 'amigos' gave a moving speech.
		Moe Fishman, veteran of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade of Americans who fought in the Spanish Civil war Moe Fishman in front of the memorial. Text on this face reads: "Yet Freedom! Yet thy banner torn, but flying, streams like the thunder-storm against the wind".
