Staines HIgh Street - sculpture showing two men with a roll of lino.
Lino was the main industry of Staines for many years - Staines was the major centre of production. The lino factory closed down around 1970, but the site continued to be used by a number of small industrial and warehousing businesses. It was redeveloped recently as a shopping centre.
