The Museum of Science & Industry is in the former LIverpool Road station and one of the ranges of goods warehouses opposite it is a fine Sunday School building A range of railway warehouse are a part of the museum and they call them the 1830 warehouse. This ensemble was the world's first railway station in the background is Manchester''s tallest building The station building and Liverpool Rd The 1830 warehouses The station continued further west into part of the former Granada Studios site One of the waiting rooms for the station - with stairs up to the platform The railway used to run towards Liverpool here The station platform and a view from beside the station down Woolam Place with the closed Wilsons Commercial hotel
