25 Years and Still No Justice for Sikhs

Hyde Park - Trafalgar Square, London. Sunday 7 June, 2009

Placards included some that caused a problem for the police

Superintendent Kohli complains about some of the placards

In his hand he holds a sheet of paper - with the Babbar symbol printed large on the other side

He particularly complained about the images which show Indian blamed for the massacres - such as Jagdish Tytler - as a target

Constable Lockwood says that some of the photographs might disturb children

Most of the photographs of the massacres seem to me less disturbing than the coffins

and often not easy to interpret at a casual glance. Although images that are hard to live with,
unlikely to cause great distress glimpsed on a street as people march by.
