 We had to rush down the steps to catch the boat back to Iona - the abbey was visible in the distance - this picture was taken a few minutes out from Staffa |

 Between Staffa and Iona, looking around northwest - a view of clouds above 'Dutchman's Cap,' a small unihabited island which looks rather more like a Mexican hat. Long uninhabited and a nature reserve, although at one time animals were grazed there in summer by visiting herdsmen. The island to its left is a small island next to this. We were lucky that the sea was very calm, though there was a little movement, which perhaps accounts for the slope here! |
