Crowning of the Hayes Realms

Hayes, Bromley, London. Saturday 19 April, 2008

 


The May Queen groups met up in a local school this year

 
  The different realms wear different colours
 
  This year's London May Queen holds a stick with flowers on it and was accompanied by a small group (retinue)
 
  Hayes Common children wore green costumes
 
 
 
Hayes were in Blue. 
     
 
     


The marching band was from the TS Endeavour, a unit of the Nautical Training Corps which meets in Shirley. The NTC is an independent charity running youth groups and not a part of the Sea Scouts of Sea Cadets
