	Gidea Park - Romford Garden Suburb Thursday 12 April, 2007 Cottages from the 1910/11 competition
	Houses from 1910/11 included the Georgian-style at right.

			Gidea Park allowed large plots for the houses, some of which have very extensive gardens. The plaque records that this was built for the competition. As were most of its neighbours. A later home built for the second competition in 1934/5, in the 'moderne' style - which I think works well in this example.
