	Bow Back Rivers - Prescott Lock Site Thursday 8 March, 2007 The Prescott Channel leaves the Three Mills Wall River at the north end of Three Mills Green. The path here is Short Wall. The factories in Sugar House Lane back on to the river here. This was built in the 1880s.

	The tide was low, showing parts of the river bed. Even with the increased water level, some dredging will probably be needed.
	James Dane established Dane & Co. making new, letterpress and lithographic inks from rented works in Sugar House Lane in East London in 1853. Recently much production has moved to Stalybridge.

The Three Mills Wall River comes into the pool from the right and the mills are ourt of frame to the left.
