Benfleet, Leigh and Canvey

Thames Estuary, Essex, 15 Oct 2005.

Going down the channel in Benfleet Creek in the mist 

 
Canvey Island is across the Creek.
 

Cows grazin in Hadleigh Castle Country Park, with the Castle through the mist in the distance.
 


The C2C train service is fairly frequent, but the trains seem very slow.      

 
The country park is a popular place for bird-watchers and also for birds, such as this white one.
 
the mist was slow to clear.
it hung over the water and the islands

but looking away from the sun to the west there was blue sky
