J18 - Carnival Against Capitalism

City of London. 18th June 1999

Carnival Against Captialism occupies Liverpool St Station

 In Broadgate

 Liverpool St

Several men were taking part in a Naked protest

At Bank - with Royal Exchange in the background

and it felt like a carnival against capitalism

Another of the naked protesters hands out leaflets

 Punks at Cannon St

 Dancing down the street

'Refuse, Resist, Reclaim, Revolt.' a well punctuated banner on Cannon St

A woman stripped to the waist with the message NO DEBT above her breasts

 People dance to a group

I didn't quite manage to photograph the banner, which I think said 'Global Ecology NOT Global Economy'

A statue of a LIFFE Trader opposite Cannon Street station got decorated
